Thrilling news for fans of both Amber and Gretchen Archer’s Davis Way Crime Caper Series as Amber has narrated the audiobook version of Double Up the sixth installment in the series which was released a few days ago.

Davis Way-Cole is a member of the elite security team at Bellissimo Resort and Casino in Biloxi. The Bellissimo isn't just a workplace it's also her home. She lives on the 29th floor with her husband Bradley the resort’s CEO and their newborn twins. When new competition enters the scene her home and the job she loves are both at risk. Davis must use all her super secret spy skills to save the Bellissimo but a helping hand comes from an unlikely source when Davis’ former mother-in-law Bea Crawford comes to her aid, unfortunately espionage isn't her forte.

This is one of my favourite series Gretchen delivers engaging mysteries and interesting characters. Amber has narrated five of the six audiobooks in the series to date using her skills as an actor to bring the characters off the page. It gives her the chance to go back to her roots and let loose her lovely southern accent once more.

Dark Shadows: Dress Me In Dark Dreams - Audio Drama Starring Amber Now Available On Audible

In 2012 Amber took on the role of Judith Collins in Dark Shadows: Dress Me In Dark Dreams audio drama.

This original dramatic reading is a spin-off from the cult US supernatural soap opera Dark Shadows which aired between 1966 - 1971. Dark Shadows is set in the fictional fishing town of Collinsport Maine. Collingwood the ancestral home to the Collins family is frequently the epicentre of dark and mysterious occurrences involving magic, ghosts and a vast array of supernatural creatures.

As the drama begins we meet Judith Collins (Amber) who’s trapped in Collingwood tasked with caring for her bitter grandmother Edith Collins (Terry Crawford). Her only escape from the day-to-day chore of dealing with the cantankerous Edith is in her dreams. Where a handsome stranger offers her romance and excitement. As her dreams grow increasingly intense Judith begins to wonder if the stranger could be real? To uncover the truth Judith and Edith must confront a dark family secret that could prove deadly to them both. Dress Me in Dark Dreams also stars James Unsworth.

Amber Narrates Swarm Audiobook Out Now via Audible USA

Exciting news for Amber fans in the USA as she has narrated the audiobook version of Swarm which is out now.

Swarm is written by Scott Westerfeld, Margo Lanagan & Deborah Biancotti and is the second book in the Zeroes trilogy. Following Amber’s excellent work narrating Zeroes she has returned to narrate the second instalment of this exciting series.

Unlike Zeroes, Swarm isn't currently available in the UK. I don't know the reason behind this I will email audible in the near future and ask however for now all we can do is hope that the audiobook version of Swarm will eventually make its way across the pond.

Amber has experience narrating her own work and those of other successful authors. I’ve always enjoyed hearing her bring characters from the page. Amber uses her training as an actor to provide each of the characters with a unique voice in a way that few other narrators are able to do. Exciting news for both fans of Amber and Gretchen Archer’s Davis Way Crime Caper series. The fifth book in the series titled Double Knot was recently released as an audiobook. Amber has returned to narrate this latest exciting instalment after her excellent work on the four previous audiobooks in the series.

Davies Way-Cole is a member of the elite security team at Bellissimo Resort and Casino in Biloxi. On her last official assignment before taking maternity leave she's headed on a week-long cruise to the Caribbean aboard Profitability. A luxury super yacht which the Bellissimo has invested in and it features world-class facilities including a casino of course. Davies is enjoying her new surroundings even if her mother who she agreed to take on a much-needed vacation is getting under her skin. She’s determined to enjoy what may be her last assignment.

Newlywed Davies Way-Cole is a member of the elite security team at Bellissimo Resort and Casino in Biloxi. It's summertime in Biloxi which means only one thing convention season at the Bellissimo. Conventions aren’t something that Davies would concern herself with until special events coordinator Holder Derby walks off the job leaving our favourite super secret spy to pick up the pieces because 500 bankers from Alabama will soon be arriving for their annual convention. Davis soon discovers Holder isn’t the only one to disappear one of the convention attendees has also vanished but has left something behind in his hotel bathtub $1 million in cash no less. To make matters worse for Davies and her team they soon discover the Bellissimo’s vault has been robbed. Can Davis put the pieces together before it's too late?

The Davis Way Crime Caper series is personally one of my favourite series of audiobooks right now. Gretchen Archer employs a unique mix of mystery, humour and drama with a cast of engaging characters. This latest instalment is brought to life by Amber who lets loose her lovely southern accent once in another exciting mystery for Davis.

While I was writing an update about another exciting audiobook project involving Amber I was delighted to discover that Amber is set to narrate the audiobook versions of the Ayala Storme series written by Emmie Mears.
