Ghosts of Albion
In 2002, Amber developed, co-wrote, and directed, the online animated, supernatural adventure series Ghost of Albion.
Amber’s co-author for project was the hugely talented Christopher Golden, who’s work includes strings of richly entertaining novels in both supernatural and thriller fiction. Christopher’s works also include a number of comic and tie-in novels for other well known franchises, including Buffy The Vampire Slayer & Angel. He also co-wrote the Buffy Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds video game with Thomas E. Sniegoski in which Amber's voice was featured.
The Ghosts of Albion series is set in 1880’s London and centres around lives of two siblings, William and Tamara Swift. William is just beginning a career as an architect while Tamara is frustrated by restrictions and lack of options for women in the Victorian Era. That doesn’t stop her from being an author of horror fiction... using an assumed name of course.
Then, one night their lives are changed forever. While on his death bed, their grandfather, Ludlow, tells them they must take over his role as the protector of Albion, which is Old English for England. As the protectors of Albion they must defend England and the world against the demons and dark magic that threaten it. Little did they just how soon they would be forced to use their newly inherited powers to save themselves, their home, and the world.
Tamara and William aren’t alone in their fight however help is at hand from famous friends who join the Swifts in their fight.
To find out more you’ll have to watch the series. I don’t want to spoil the surprises. Here is the best part it’s free to watch at http://www.bbc.co.uk/cult/ghosts/
Legacy is the first Ghosts of Albion story and was directed by Amber herself. Watch as Tamara and William begin their journey. Trust me, you will never look at London the same way again.
Embers is the second online drama Tamara and William begin a search for mysterious artefact and soon face a race against time to prevent it falling into the wrong hands.
The popularity of the series meant the story continued off screen in a series of books. The first of which is a novella: Astray which sees William and Tamara as they travel to investigate strange phenomena that is effecting the children in a small village. It is available to read on the Ghosts of Albion website. If reading it isn't enough for you, listen to it as read by Jasmine Hyde, who voiced Tamara Swift. If you'd like a hard copy of Astray, is in print, published by Subterranean Press.

In 2005 Del Rey Books published Accursed the first of two novels which chronicle the continuing adventures of William & Tamera Swift.
This was followed by Witchery in 2006.
