Amber Is The Special Guest On Drinking During Business Hours Podcast

Amber was the special guest on the latest episode of Drinking During Business Hours podcast released yesterday. It is hosted by stand-up comedian Sarah J Halstead and in each episode she talks to a different creative person about their passions and what led them to do the work that they love.

Amber talks about growing up in Alabama, being bitten by the acting bug and some of her most memorable roles. Playing Ella McShane in Steven Soderbergh's classic film King of the Hill and her role as Tara Maclay on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. They discuss Amber's transition from acting to writing, being an author along with her work as a producer and director. This is a must listen for any Amber fan, she discusses her career and her experiences working as an actor. Amber is honest, engaging and very funny and even gives us a sneak peak of an upcoming project in this brilliant podcast. I only wish it had been longer.

Lady Parts Movie To Go Into Production Following A Successful Crowd Funding Campaign

Earlier this month we shared the exciting news that Amber had signed on to be Executive Producer of the brand-new movie Lady Parts written by Erin Rye. To raise the necessary funds the production team ran a campaign via crowd funding platform Seed & Spark. The campaign came to a successful conclusion on the 8th of April raising $10,235, enough for Lady Parts to go into production. Amber will have the opportunity to take on the role of Executive Producer and supporters of Lady Parts will get the opportunity to see it.

Lady Parts is based on Erin's own experiences working in the entertainment industry. It tells the story of Liz an actor who finally gets her big break in a lead role only to find her dream role could well push her to breaking point. It was announced last week that Amber is to be executive producer of upcoming movie Lady Parts a new comedy by Erin Rye. Lady Parts is currently running a campaign on crowd funding platform Seed & Spark to raise the funds it needs to get it to the screen.

Lady Parts is based on Erin's own experiences working in the entertainment industry. It tells the story of Liz an actor who finally gets her big break in a lead role only to find her dream role could well push her to breaking point. Amber Narrates The Audiobook Version Of Double Dog Dare

Exciting news for fans of both Amber and Gretchen Archer’s Davis Way Crime Caper Series as Amber has narrated the audiobook version of Double Dog Dare the seventh installment in the series which was released a few days ago.

Gretchen is one of my favourite authors and I'm personally a big fan of the series. She creates engaging and well plotted mysteries with a great set of unique characters. Amber has narrated six of the seven audiobooks in the series to date using her skills as an actor to bring the characters off the page. Amber gives each character their own unique voice with some superb voice acting, trust me you’ll be amazed how different she sounds. Amber definitely adds another dimension to what I'm sure will be another exciting mystery. It gives her the chance to go back to her roots and let loose her lovely southern accent once more.
