Amber recently shared the news that Lock In audiobook she narrated has been nominated for an Audie Award.
Saying:

Written by John Scalzi Locked In is a futuristic thriller where the mysterious and deadly Haden Syndrome has devastated the planet. Twenty-five years after the appearance of this deadly virus two FBI agents Chris Shane and his veteran partner Leslie Vann are sent to investigate a Haden related murder at the Watergate Hotel unaware they are about to uncover a much bigger mystery.
John took the decision to have not one but two audiobook versions of his novel one narrated by Amber and the other narrated by fellow actor Wil Wheaton. The gender of lead character Chris Shane isn't revealed in the course of the book for that reason John decided to have two separate versions made.
In the course of writing this update I found the interview below in which both Amber and Wil talk about their experiences narrating their versions of this gripping story and the reason for making two unique versions of the audiobook.
