 Following on from our update about Dust Up being available in the USA via Amazon.com's Prime service click here I decided to contact the Dust Up team to see if fans in the UK could order Dust Up on DVD directly from Ward and his team. They were kind enough to give us an answer to our question.
Good news the answer is yes: fans in the UK can order Dust Up DVD by e-mailing: [email protected] and the Dust Up team will be happy to help you. Tonight in Los Angeles Amber will be competing against three fellow writers for the Literary Death Match Crown all in front of a live audience and you could be there.
Joining Amber will be Brian Finkelstein, Cecil Castellucci & Nick Antosca each writer will have up to 7 minutes reading from their own work to impress an expert judging panel featuring: · Will McCormack · Andrea Letamendi · Sara Benincasa The judges will then select the two finalists who will go head-to-head for the Literary Death Match Crown in what the organisers describe as a “vaguely literary game”. Humour is the main aim of the evening in what promises to be a hugely entertaining event. At the conclusion of the Death Match the fun moves on to a lively after party. If you haven't heard about Dust Up yet here is what you need to know. Dust Up was written and directed by Ward Roberts. The film tells the story of Ella a young mother working hard to raise her baby daughter Lucy. Life for Ella and Lucy takes a deadly turn when they become the targets of a psychotic drug dealer named Buzz (Jeremiah Burkett). First of all I'd like to apologise for not being able to keep this section as up-to-date as I would have liked over the last few days. Unfortunately my laptop was hit with a severe virus which meant I have been unable to post recently.
