I know this section of the website is usually reserved for the latest news regarding Amber's upcoming appearances, projects etc. However as I was having a look through the site today I realised this is probably one of the longest period of time where we haven't had an exciting update from or about something Amber is involved in.
We know from recent podcasts, interviews and panels that Amber is working on the pilot episode for her Witches of Echo Park TV series, based on her own Echo Park trilogy of books. Amber has also been working on a secret project with friend and fellow author Christopher Golden. There isn't any updates on either of these projects as yet.
As regular visitors to the site will know when Amber completes a project as well as adding it here, I will add a hyper link in the relevant section so people can either watch, listen or find out more about that particular project. The second thing I realised when I looked through the site today was that there are a number of projects that don't have hyperlinks attached. In some cases this is because the project was prior to 2013 when Amber Benson.TV went online. So I thought I would look through and see what past projects I could give more information on.
That's when I discovered Reverse Parthenogenesis, one of my favourite short films starring Amber, didn't have a link to it here on Amber Benson.TV. I thought it was time to put this right.
In Reverse Parthenogenesis Amber plays the part of Julie and stars opposite her former Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-star Adam Busch, who plays her husband Saul. The couple are keen to start a family so they visit their doctor to have their genome mapped, as they are keen to find out if their future child will be healthy.
The test results will not only reveal some cracks in their relationship but also a secret so dark it threatens not only their marriage but the rest of the world. This dark comedy is written and directed by Javier Grillo-Marxuach and is a must see for Amber fans. I've embedded Reverse Parthenogenesis below, it is available to watch for free and uninterrupted.
