Amber To Attend Wizard World Comic Con In Portland Next Month

Exciting news for Amber fans as she recently confirmed via her official Twitter account that she will be a guest at Wizard World Comic Con in Portland Oregon USA next month.

Wizard World is a three-day event between Friday, 22ndand Sunday the 24thof February. According to Wizard World's official website Amber is set to attend all three days.

It is being held at Oregon Convention Center777 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd Portland, OR 97232.

Amber will be joined over the weekend by a number of her former Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-stars and as well as other Buffy cast members from before and after her time on the show.

Double Whammy Audiobook Is Re-Released & Narrated By Amber Benson

Earlier this week Audible re-released Double Whammy the first book in Gretchen Archer's Davis Way Crime Caper Series. This new version is narrated by Amber Benson. In 2014 Amber narrated Double Dip the second book in the series taking over from Dina Pearlman who had narrated Double Whammy when it was first released in 2013.

Amber has gone on to narrate the next five books in the series:
Double Strike
Double Mint
Double Knot
Double Up
Double Dog Dare

If you're not familiar with the series it centers on Davis Way who is part of the elite security team at Bellissimo Resort and Casino in Biloxi Mississippi. Davis and her team have dealt with thieves, con men, murderers and more while risking life and limb more than once.

Last year Double Whammy was rereleased to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the beginning of the series. The audiobook version has been re-released and Amber has the chance to take us right back to the beginning as we meet Davis for the first time.

Davis the new recruit on the security team runs into her ex-ex-husband while trying to tackle rigged slot machines. Things take a darker turn beginning with a case of mistaken identity and a trail of dead bodies. Luckily for Davis help is at hand from Bradley Cole her landlord, lawyer and just maybe her love interest too.

This newly released version of Double Whammy is exclusive to Audible.

Double Whammy audiobook is unabridged. The audiobook is available to buy from Audible both here in the UK click here and in the USA click here, both sites offer the facility to buy the audiobook for a one-off fee for non-members.

Audible also offers a range of packages where in return for a regular monthly fee a user is entitled to download Double Whammy as well as access to a vast library of audiobooks also available on the site. Amber uses her vocal talents and lets loose her lovely southern accent to really bring the characters off the page I'm really looking forward to hearing Double Whammy for the first time.

Amber Attends The Red Carpet Premiere of The Nightmare Gallery

Amber recently attended the red carpet premiere of The Nightmare Gallery which is set for release later this year.

In 2017 it was announced that Amber would star in The Nightmare Gallery playing the lead role of Professor Samantha Rand who lectures in anthropology and is shocked by the sudden disappearance of her star student.

Three years later Samantha receives a mysterious package containing mystical artifacts that may hold the key to discovering the truth behind her pupil's disappearance. Samantha embarks on a journey that could prove to be her undoing as her life begins to unravel. She risks losing her wife Dawn (Mieko Hillman) and her identity. Can she discover the truth in time to save not only herself but the world too?

The Nightmare Gallery is being brought to our screens by Seraph Films and AWOL Studios. It was also part funded by fans after a successful Kickstarter campaign.

Earlier this month Seraph Films broadcasted live video via their official Facebook page of the stars and invited guests arriving at The Nightmare Gallery’s red carpet premiere. Click the link below:

Happy Birthday Amber!

The 8th of January is a very important date because it's Amber's Birthday. Earlier today I posted birthday messages on our Facebook and Twitter feeds but I couldn't let the day pass without mentioning it here in The Latest Amber News Section.

I first met Amber 10 years ago although I'd been a fan before that. Amber continues to have a positive impact on my life. After meeting her I’ve tried things I never would have done otherwise like building this website and starting to write thank you for the encouragement and support. Of course thank you for the countless hours of entertainment I've had watching you in your film and TV roles, reading your fantastic books and enjoying lots of other projects too.

Amber I'm sure everyone who visits AmberBenson.TV would join me in wishing you a fantastic year ahead and have a very Happy Birthday.
