Amber Was The Special Guest on a Recent Episode of Turn The Page Podcast

A few days ago, I was excited to learn that Amber had recently been the special guest of the Turn The Page Podcast. This isn't a podcast I was familiar with and I was intrigued to learn that it is in fact the official podcast of The Syosset Public Library in Nassau County, New York USA. Their team of librarians host and produce the podcast and discuss all things literary including talking to special guests.

As well as being an author herself Amber has a passion for books so her appearance on Turn The Page was a perfect fit for her. Amber talks about how she began her career as a writer before discussing her own works including, Ghosts of Albion, The Calliope Reaper-Jones Series and The Witches of Echo Park Trilogy.

Amber recalls how her career has an actor influences her writing and how she uses her training to narrate audiobooks for a series of top authors as well as her own work. We get a mysterious hint or two as Amber reveals she's working on a top-secret project and there’s lots more interesting discussion too.

Clueless: One Last Summer Graphic Novel Written By Amber Benson & Sarah Kuhn on Sale From The 28th of November

In February it was revealed that Amber had once again teamed up with writing partner Sarah Kuhn and artist Siobhan Keenan to create Clueless: One Last Summer graphic novel.

This is a sequel to Clueless: The Senior Year which Amber, Sarah and Siobhan created and was released in the summer of 2017. Clueless: Senior Year is the follow-up to Amy Heckerling’s hit 1995 movie Clueless starring Alicia Silverstone. Amber and Sarah’s all-new and original story gave fans of the movie the opportunity to follow the ups and downs of Cher, Dionne and Tai during their final year of high school. It was published by BOOM! Studios they will again publish Clueless: One Last Summer.

Clueless: One Last Summer will see Cher, Dionne and Tai reunite for one last big summer adventure before the three friends head to college. Friendships will be tested but publishers BOOM! promise readers fun and laughter too. On Friday Amber shared an article from pastemagazine.com which has an exclusive preview of the graphic novel. Thanks to big friend of the site Katie for giving us a heads up about this interview.

According to the information we currently have Clueless: One Last Summer is available to buy in selected comic stores and online digitally direct from BOOM! Studios on the 28thof November. It will then be released more widely in bookstores a few days later on the 4th of December. I have checked with my local, comic bookstore and they have confirmed this is the information that they have been given too. As always we will do our very best to keep you up-to-date and if we have any more information about the release date we will let you know.

Amber Now Unable To Attend Signing Event For Mine! Comic Book Collection In Los Angeles Tonight

Sadly Amber is no longer able to attend the signing event for Mine! Comic Book Collection. Taking place at A Shop Called Quest in Los Angeles tonight.

Amber co-wrote a story with her friend and fellow author Sarah Kuhn illustrated by Sina Grace which is part of Mine! Comic Book Collection. Amber, Sarah and Sina are among a number of writers and illustrators to lend their talents to Mine! which is produced in support of Planned Parenthood. They provide family planning advice and essential women's healthcare services throughout the United States. Mine! is partially funded via a successful Kickstarter campaign.

Sina confirmed a little while ago via a video posted on his official Twitter account that sadly Amber is no longer able to attend click here. However both he and Sarah are still attending and the signing will go ahead from 5-8 PM tonight at:

Clueless: One Last Summer Graphic Novel By Amber Benson & Sarah Kuhn Announced!

In the summer of 2017 Boom Studios! released Clueless: Senior Year graphic novel co written by Amber Benson and her friend and fellow author Sarah Kuhn illustrated by Siobhan Keenan. Clueless: Senior Year is the follow-up to Amy Heckerling’s hit 1995 movie Clueless starring Alicia Silverstone. Amber and Sarah’s all-new and original story is an opportunity for fans of the movie to follow the ups and downs of Cher, Dionne and Tai during their final year of high school.

Earlier this month in an interview with Shockya.com Amber revealed she and Sarah were working on a sequel. On 27th of February website publishersweekly.com announced the sequel will be released in autumn/fall of 2018. Titled Clueless: One Last Summer that will see Cher, Dionne, and Tai embark on one last summer adventure before heading to college. In this all-new and original story that will again be illustrated by Siobhan Keenan.

Amber To Attend A Signing Event For Mine! Comic Book Collection In Los Angeles Tomorrow (28/2/18/)

There was exciting news for fans today as Amber revealed via her official Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts that she will be attending a signing for the Mine! Comic Book Collection in Los Angeles tomorrow. (28/2/18/) As many Amber fans and regular visitors to the site will know last year Amber teamed up with her friends Sarah Kuhn and Sina Grace to co-write and illustrate a brand-new comic book story to be part of the Mine! Comic Book Collection.

In September 2017 pop culture website ComicMix.com concluded a successful Kickstarter campaign to fund Mine! A comic book collection in support of Planned Parenthood which provides family planning advice and essential women's healthcare services throughout the United States. It decided to bring together top comic book talent to produce a brand-new comic book collection called Mine! Then use all the proceeds from sales of this collection to support the organisation. Amber, Sarah and Sina were among a number of talented writers and illustrators to lend their support to the project.

Amber has worked with both Sarah and Sina before. Sarah co-authored Clueless: Senior Year graphic novel with Amber who recently revealed in an interview with shockya.com that they are currently working on a sequel. Amber starred in Sina’s semi-autobiographical web series Self-Obsessed and Sina was the illustrator for Amber's children's book Among The Ghosts.

Amber, Sarah and Sina will all be attending the signing event tomorrow (28/2/18/) held at:

Amber To Attend An Upcoming Signing Event For The Clueless Senior Year Graphic Novel

There was exciting news for fans as it’s been announced that Amber is set to attend a special signing event for the Clueless: Senior Graphic Novel later this month. Amber will be joined by her co-author Sarah Kuhn and Siobhan Keenan the artist behind the images within the pages of this exciting graphic novel.

Clueless: Senior Year is the follow-up to Amy Heckerling’s hit 1995 movie Clueless staring Alicia Silverstone. Amber and Sarah’s all new and original story is an opportunity for fans of the movie to follow the ups and downs of Cher, Dionne and Tai during their final year of high school.

The signing event is being hosted by Arsenal Comics & Games of Newbury Park California and takes place on 11th of November between 12:30 - 2 PM PST. A fantastic opportunity for fans to get their hands on a signed copy as well as meet Amber, Sarah and Siobhan too of course.

The Kickstarter The Campaign To Fund Mine! Comic Collection Successful-The Project Will Go Ahead

A few weeks ago Popular pop culture website ComicMix.com launched a Kickstarter the campaign to fund the Mine, collection in support of Planned Parenthood. It decided to bring together top comic book talent to produce a brand-new comic book collection called Mine! Then use all the proceeds from sales of this collection to support the organisation. Comic Mix is promising that whatever your comic book tastes there will be something in this collection to suit you.

Amber was one of a number of authors, artists and illustrators to support the project.

The Kickstarter campaign came to an end on 16th of September 2017 and was successfully funded after it exceeded its goal raising $59,360. This means that not only will Planned Parenthood receive a much needed funds. We will also have another exciting comic co written by Amber Benson. Amber is one of a number of writers and illustrators to lend their support to Mine! A brand-new comic book collection currently seeking funds via Kickstarter with the aim of supporting Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood provides family planning advice as well as essential women's healthcare services across the United States. Despite this however the Trump administration recently took the decision to strip it of all public funding meaning a potentially uncertain future for the organisation and the women who rely upon it’s services as a primary source of heath care.

Popular pop culture website ComicMix.com wants to raise money, awareness and support of Planned Parenthood. It decided to bring together top comic book talent to produce a brand-new comic book collection called Mine! Then use all the proceeds from sales of this collection to support the organisation. Comic Mix is promising that whatever your comic book tastes there will be something in this collection to suit you.
