Last Thursday Amber was the guest on the Switchblade Sisters podcast. In each episode film critic April Wolfe invites a female actor, writer, director or producer to discuss one of their favourite action or genre films. As Amber has all of these credits to her name she was an ideal guest. Amber's chosen film was 1980s horror classic Night Of The Comet. It had a big impact on her at an early age in part due to it having two young female protagonists Amber and April talk about the film’s key messages and themes and much more.
They also delve into filmmaking and how Amber made her first self financed film Chance which she wrote and directed as well as playing the title role opposite former Buffy the Vampire Slayer co star James Marsters. I thoroughly enjoyed this podcast, it's an absolute must listen for any Amber fan. Her enthusiasm for writing and creating shines through and she's funny, honest and insightful. I'll be honest I hadn't even heard of Night Of the Comet before listening to this podcast but I was so intrigued I ordered the film online so I could watch it myself.
