Here is some exciting news for fans in the UK: ‘I Saw The TV Glow’ featuring Amber Benson is now available to watch on TV and stream on demand on Sky Cinema and NOW TV. As many fans will know ‘I Saw The TV Glow’ was released in cinemas across the UK and Ireland last summer and now it's available on both UK TV and streaming on demand for the first time.

‘I Saw The TV Glow’ centres on Owen (Justice Smith) and Maddy (Brigette Lundy-Paine); two teenagers trying to navigate their way through life and high school. Owen and Maddie bond over a shared interest in a supernatural TV show The Pink Opaque. However, when it’s cancelled, Owen’s reality begins to blur with the fictional world in which The Pink Opaque is set.

This is the first time Amber has appeared in an on-screen role since she starred as Professor Samantha Rand in 2019's The Nightmare Gallery. In recent years, Amber has transitioned from acting to writing, including the Calliope-Reaper Jones series and the Echo Park Coven Series of novels. Following the completion of these successful series Amber has since written a number of both fiction and non-fiction film projects for television. Amber is featured as ‘Johnny Link’s Mom’, a small but important role that provides Owen with a moment of support and comfort.

The film is available to watch live on demand through Sky Cinema and its sister platform NOW TV. Sky Cinema is available to new and existing Sky TV customers and requires a monthly subscription. For more information about Sky Cinema click here.

NOW TV is a streaming platform available on smart TVs, tablets, laptops, smartphones, and more. A Sky Cinema membership is available for a monthly fee which you can cancel at any time. For more information about NOW TV click here.

I'm delighted that more fans here in the UK have the opportunity to see ‘I Saw The TV Glow’ and see Amber in an on-screen role. I'd like to apologise for the length of time it has taken to post this information on the site. I've had a busy time with some other commitments, but I am determined to get back to posting regular updates. Thank you all for your patience.

Earlier this month it was revealed that ‘I Saw The TV Glow’ featuring Amber Benson was to be given a nationwide release across both the UK and Republic of Ireland.

‘I Saw The TV Glow’ centres on Owen (Justice Smith) and Maddy (Brigette Lundy-Paine); two teenagers trying to navigate their way through life and high school. Owen and Maddie bond over a shared interest in a supernatural TV show. When the TV show is cancelled, Owen’s reality begins to blur with the fictional world in which the show is set.

I'm delighted to post the news that ‘I Saw The TV Glow’ will be shown at the Tyneside Cinema in Newcastle upon Tyne. I was thrilled to find screenings so close to me at a venue I know well.

‘I Saw The TV Glow’ will have several screenings between Friday, the 26th of July, to Thursday, the 1st of August 2024. To find out more about the film, watch the trailer and book tickets, click the link below:

Amber will be playing the role of “Johnny Link's Mom.” This is the first time Amber has appeared in an on-screen role since she starred as Professor Samantha Rand in 2019's The Nightmare Gallery. What makes it all more exciting for UK fans, myself included is that it will be the first time many of us have had the chance to watch a film starring Amber in the cinema.

If any other fans know of screenings around the UK and the Republic of Ireland then let me know and I can post an update in the ‘Latest Amber News’ section to let other fans know.

I have my ticket already booked, and I can't wait to see Amber on the big screen for the first time.

I have some hugely exciting news to share. ‘I Saw The TV Glow’, featuring Amber Benson, is set for a nationwide release later this month in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

‘I Saw The TV Glow’ premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and then had a limited number of preview screenings in the USA before a nationwide release on May 17, 2024.

Last month, ‘I Saw The TV Glow’ made its UK debut in London, where it was given four preview screenings. Now, the website Digitalspy.com has revealed that ‘I Saw The TV Glow’ will be released nationwide across the UK and the Republic of Ireland on Friday, July 26th, 2024.

To read the Digital Spy article and view a trailer for the film itself, click here.

I haven't been able to find a full list of cinema screenings for ‘I Saw The TV Glow’ at the moment. My advice would be to check your local cinema listings. If possible, I will put together a list of cinemas where the film is being shown. If there is a screening near you, then why not email me or get in touch via social media the links are in the website header.

It was back in 2022 that Amber revealed she had joined the cast of ‘I Saw The TV Glow’. This is the first time Amber has appeared in an on-screen role since she starred as Professor Samantha Rand in 2019's The Nightmare Gallery.

As many fans will know, in recent years, Amber has transitioned from acting to writing, including the Calliope-Reaper Jones series and the Echo Park Coven Series of novels. Following the completion of these successful series Amber has since written a number of both fiction and non-fiction film projects for television.

I was lucky enough to meet Amber again at a Convention in the UK in 2022. During a Q&A session with fans, I asked Amber if she could share more about ‘I Saw The TV Glow’. She said, "If you like genre shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Supernatural, you will love this film." A big thank you to Amber for being kind enough to answer my question!

The trailer is an intriguing watch and I can see why the project was interesting enough to tempt Amber back into an on-screen role. Sadly, Amber doesn't appear in this particular trailer but if and when new versions are released or we get any official photos of her in the film I will share them here. According to IMDb.com Amber will be playing the role of “Johnny Link's Mom.”

I'm pleased that more fans will now get a chance to see Amber's return to an on-screen role.

A big thank you to Samantha for letting me know about this exciting news.
