Amber To Host An Event At The Blank Theatre In LA This Friday

Amber recently revealed via her official social media accounts that she would be hosting an event at the Blank Theatre in Los Angeles this Friday, 27 June.

Amber will be hosting an evening of plays penned by teenage playwrights. The event itself will form part of The Blank Theatre's 22nd Annual Young Playwrights Festival running from the 5 to 29 June.

Amber is a former alumni of The Blank Theatre Company herself and earlier this year she joined three of her former Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-stars in raising money for The Blank Theatre so it can continue its good work with young people.

Amber To Attend A Signing At RiverRun Bookstore This July

If you live in or near Portsmouth New Hampshire USA and are an Amber fan then I have some exciting news. Amber will be both reading and signing her work for fans at RiverRun Bookstore in Portsmouth on Wednesday the 16th of July.

Amber Benson To Direct A New Movie: Shevenge

Amber's body of work as a director is set to grow with the exciting news confirmed via twitter that Amber is to direct a new movie Shevenge.

Shevenge will star Emme Rylan, Megan Lee Joy and Jessica Courtemanche who will all combine their on-screen roles with writing and producing duties as well.

The movie will centre on three friends who set out to get “Shevenge” on their roommate’s ex-boyfriend. There aren't too many more details available about the movie at the moment but for all the latest news check out their official website Shevenge.com.

This will be the third feature film that she has directed following on from her own independent movies Chance and Lovers Liars and Lunatics. Amber also directed Ghosts Of Albion: Legacies an online drama for the BBC which she co-wrote with Christopher Golden and she shared co-directing duties with Adam Bush in sci-fi comedy Drones.

AmberBenson.TV would like to wish Amber and the entire Shevenge team good luck and we can't wait to see Shevenge for ourselves.

Amber's Secret Project Revealed: A Sneak Peek At Girl On Girl A Brand-New Web Project.

On 11th of June Amber revealed via Facebook and Twitter that she would be posting a link to a secret project she was working on at 4 PM PST the following day much to the delight of fans everywhere myself included.

I along with Amber fans around the world waited eagerly for the big reveal and I certainly wasn't disappointed with what I saw and judging from the reaction of fellow fans on Twitter and Facebook they were just as excited too.

The suspense is killing me I hear you cry what is the project? The answer is Girl On Girl a brand-new web project co-directed by Amber along with her former Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-star Adam Busch. There is no word as yet on what future plans are for Girl On Girl the video released yesterday was a sneak peek.

The video centres on two young women Megan and Lisa played by Megan Titus and Lisa Schwartz respectively and their attempts to impress a web series producer at a Hollywood party. Amber announced earlier via her Twitter & Facebook accounts that she would be revealing a secret project on 12/ 06/14/ at 4pm PST saying:

"@amber_benson: SPREAD THE WORD/RT. Tomorrow on my twitter/facebook will be a link to a secret project. 4pm PST. Very limited engagement - be there."
