Amber To Attend Toronto Comic Con This Weekend

Amber announced yesterday via her official social media accounts that she would be attending the Toronto Comic Con this weekend. (20th to 22 March 2015)

Saying:

“I will be at @TorontoComiCon this weekend promoting my new(ish) book, The Witches Of Echo Park! Come down and say hi!!”

Amber will be joined by a host of other famous faces from film and television including fellow Whedonverse actor J. August Richards.

Toronto Comic Con will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre for all the latest news and more information about Toronto Comic Con please click the link below to the official website.

Amber Benson Is A Guest On The Canon Podcast

First of all I'd like to apologise for not adding this to the latest news section earlier, my Internet connection was down for a few days and I'm only now catching up.

Amber was a special guest on a recent episode of The Canon a regular series hosted by film critics Devin Faraci (Badass Digest) and Amy Nicholson (LA Weekly). Each episode Devin and Amy discuss a different film and put it to a vote to decide whether the film is worthy of The Canon. In this episode they invited special guest Amber to join them in discussing the Fellini classic The Nights of Cabiria. Was The Nights of Cabiria deemed worthy of The Canon? Two Films Starring Amber Benson Are Being Shown On UK TV This Week

Good news for Amber Benson fans living in the UK as two films starring Amber will be shown on TV this week.

Another Harvest Moon

Amber plays the role of Gretchen in a cast led by the late great Ernest Borgnine and the film centers on the lives of a group of people living in retirement home. Amber delivers a brilliant performance in a very moving drama I’d recommend this film to anyone.

Another Harvest Moon is being shown on Movies 24 at 1:00am Monday, 9th of March and at 11:00am Thursday, 12th of March. Sky channel number 327, Virgin channel number 419.

It's also being shown on Movies 24+ at 8:00pm Thursday, 12 March. Sky channel number 328, Virgin channel number 420.

Jack Reed: A Search for Justice

In one of her early career roles Amber plays Nicole Reed the daughter of family man and tough but honest Chicago cop Jack Reed played by Brian Dennehy. This was Amber's second appearance in the role of Nicole Read.

Jack Reed: A Search for Justice is being shown on True Movies 1 at 11:00pm on Sunday, 8 of March. It's also been shown again at 1:00am on Wednesday, 11 March. True Movies one is available on Sky channel 321, Freesat channel 302 and Virgin channel 424.
