Amber Joins Entertainment Weekly's 20 Year Buffy The Vampire Slayer Reunion

Thrilling news for fans as Amber joins a very special Buffy the Vampire Slayer reunion. As many fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer will already know the groundbreaking series has just celebrated its 20th anniversary. Entertainment weekly arranged a very special reunion reuniting almost all of Buffy’s regular cast in one room for the first time in years.

Amber who played Tara Maclay is joined by her fellow cast members:

Sarah
Alyson
Nicholas
Charisma
Seth
Michelle
James
Kristine
David
Emma
and series creator Joss Whedon

They all feature in an article in the brand-new issue of Entertainment Weekly and the cast talk about their memories and experiences on the show. As if that weren't enough they have also produced a documentary on the history of Buffy and the cast in their own words share their feelings about the show and much more. Amber and Alyson discuss their roles as Tara and Willow and the importance of their relationship to the series and the positive impact it had on society too.

This documentary is a must see for fans and the good news is it's completely free to watch just click the link below and hit play. I watched the video myself and I can confirm it does play in the UK I'm not sure about other countries though if anyone has any information on this let me know.

As a huge fan of both Buffy the Vampire Slayer and of course Amber herself I enjoyed seeing the Scooby gang back together again I hope you all enjoy the video as much as I did.

Self-Obsessed Season 2 Has Been Released

In 2016 author, illustrator and creator Sina Grace launched a web series adaptation of his own semi autobiographical graphic novel Self-Obsessed. In which Sina is facing the cancellation of his comic book series and other personal setbacks. Amber starred alongside him playing herself the two are good friends and Amber fans maybe familiar with Sina’s name because he was the illustrator for Amber's children's book Among The Ghosts.

The 23rd of March 2017 saw the launch of season 2 with all 5 episodes released at the same time.

Amber returns as a series regular playing herself. Jon Gabrus and her former Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-star Adam Busch are back for a second season. Joining the cast this season are Laura Silverman, Drew Droege, Colleen Green and Bailey Godfrey along with brand-new director Kevin Sonnichsen.

The new season begins with Sina making plans with Amber for their trip to Comic Con before he heads to his former employer to pitch a brand-new idea that received a lukewarm reception then faces dinner with his ex Greg.

Amber recently announced on Twitter she would be returning. Adam Busch her former Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-star is also returning along with Jon Gabrus. Joining them for season 2 are: Laura Silverman, Drew Droege, Colleen Green and Bailey Godfrey along with brand-new director Kevin Sonnichsen.

Season 2 begins with Sina pitching a brand-new idea to his former employer and it receives a lukewarm reception. Then he and Amber head off to Comic Con where he is offered a deal with strings attached and Amber’s experience at this particular Comic Con isn't a good one.

Amber To Co-Write The Brand-New Clueless Comic Book Series

Amber is to co-write the brand new comic book version of 90s hit movie Clueless. Her writing partner will be friend and author of the Heroine Complex Sarah Kuhn. The comic will act as a follow-up to the big screen cult classic starring Alicia Silverstone.

The Clueless comic book is being published by Boom! Comics and is set to hit shelves this August.

Amber and Sarah recently gave an interview to Vanity Fair explaining what attracted them to the project. They talk about the challenge of recreating an authentic 90s experience, including staying true to the dialogue that fans of Cher, Dionne, and Tai will remember so fondly. There’s also more about the other members of the creative team working hard to bring the Clueless universe back to their fans and much more.

I checked with my local comic book store and I was able to place a pre-order for Clueless yesterday so it may be worth checking with your local supplier. I can't wait to read the brand-new Clueless comic book. I'll do my best to update you when new information about the series becomes available.

Amber To Attend An Event At Vroman's Bookstore In April

Vroman's Bookstore is hosting a special event next month with authors Cory Doctorow & John Scalzi along with Amber who is attending as a special guest.

Cory will be signing copies of his new book Walkaway and John will also be signing copies of his latest work The Collapsing Empire. Amber has worked with both Cory and John previously, she narrated one of two versions of John's audiobook Locked In. She is to be one of the narrators of the audiobook version of Cory’s Walkaway.

Vroman's Bookstore has said Amber will not be signing copies of her own books at the event.
