Amber Will Be Appearing Alongside Seanan Maguire In A Special Event At Mysterious Galaxy Book Store Next Month

Amber confirmed early this morning (UK time) that she will be appearing in a special event alongside her friend and fellow author Seanan Maguire. The event is being held to celebrate the release of Seanan Maguire’s upcoming novel The Middlegame at Mysterious Galaxy Bookstore in San Diego.

Seanan and Amber will be appearing together and talking to fans. This is a ticketed event and does include a copy of The Middlegame.

Amber recently confirmed via a video on her official Twitter account that she has narrated the audiobook version of the Middlegame. Hex Life Featuring A Brand-New Short Story By Amber Benson Is Now Available For Pre-order Now

As regular visitors to AmberBenson.TV may know just before Christmas Amber confirmed via her official Twitter account that she had written a brand-new short story to be included in Hex Life: Wicked New Tales of Witchery. This brand-new collection features 18 all-new short stories from today's most popular female authors.

At the moment Amber hasn't released any details about her story but Hex Life itself has now been listed for pre-order on both Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com. Click the hyperlinks for details. When I have more information about other stockists I will post an update either here or on our Facebook or Twitter feeds. Hex Life is set to be released on the 1stof October 2019.

Hex Life: Wicked New Tales of Witchery is edited by Christopher Golden, Amber's long-time friend and writing partner and Rachel Autumn Deering. Amber’s story will feature alongside work by fellow authors:

Just before Christmas Amber confirmed via her official Twitter account that she’d written a brand new short story to be part of Hex Life which promises "New Tales of Wicked Witchery" coming in 2019. Hex Life will be edited by Christopher Golden, Amber's long-time friend and writing partner and Rachel Autumn Deering. Amber will also be joined by fellow authors:

Amber Interviewed on The Latest Episode of The Butterfly Show

Amber was interviewed along with Daron Nefcy, Dominic Bisignano on the latest episode of The Butterfly Show, a web-based series dedicated to the popular Disney cartoon Star vs The Forces of Evil.

Star vs. The Forces of Evil centers on Star Butterfly who’s from a far off dimension. To keep her safe Star’s parents send her to earth disguised as an exchange student. Where she befriends Marco and together the two of them try to survive school and keep Star’s magic safe.

In 2017 Amber wrote Star and Marco’s Guide to Mastering Every Dimension the first original book to be based on the cartoon series. The Magic Book of Spells includes every spell featured in the show.

The story of Mewni, as told by thirteen queens as well as secrets and magic from Star Butterfly herself. Amber again teamed up with series creator/writer Daron Nefcy and supervising producer/writer Dominic Bisignano. This is the second original book to be based on the popular Disney cartoon Star vs. The Forces of Evil.

The Butterfly Show host Blood Moon Bobby, interviews Amber, Daron and Dominic at a recent signing event to celebrate the release of The Magic Book of Spells. This was held at Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra California on Saturday, 29th of September 2018.

This is a fun interview and a must watch for fans of Amber and Star Butterfly too of course.

These are exciting times for Amber fans particularly if you live in or can travel to California as it's been revealed Amber will be attending a third signing event to celebrate the release of her brand-new children's book Star vs. The Forces of Evil: The Magic Book of Spells which is released today.

This is the second original book to be based on the popular Disney cartoon Star vs. The Forces of Evil.

If you live in the LA area here is some exciting news, Amber will be attending a special signing event to celebrate the release of her new children's book Star vs. The Forces of Evil: The Magic Book of Spells at Barnes & Noble The Grove LA.

This is the second original book to be based on the popular Disney cartoon Star vs. The Forces of Evil.

The event will celebrate the release of Amber's brand-new children's book Star vs. The Forces of Evil: The Magic Book of Spells. The second original book to be based on the popular Disney cartoon Star vs The Forces of Evil. Fans will have the chance to meet Amber and get their hands on a signed copy of her latest book.

Even if like me you can't attend the signing in person fear not you can still get your hands on a signed copy ordering via Dark Delicacies website using the link above. They will ship cross the US and to the UK. I'm not sure about postage to other countries my advice would be to email them and ask. I have ordered many books and DVDs from them in the past and I’ve always received friendly, helpful service.

Amber Will Be A Celebrity Guest At LitFEST Pasadena This Sunday

Amber will be a celebrity guest at LitFEST Pasadena on Sunday the 20th of May. LitFest is held at multiple venues around the city of Pasadena in California. It features workshops, readings, author talks, literary performances and much more.

Amber is attending two events on Sunday as a celebrity guest reading from her own work. The first of these is Journeys & Realizations: YA Novelists Read Favorite Passages from Their Books. Amber will read from Death's Daughter the first book in her Calliope Reaper-Jones Series. The event will be held at the Pasadena Playhouse Library between 4:15 - 5:15 PM PDT. The second event Amber will be attending is The Tomorrow Prize – Short Sci-Fi by L.A. Teens Reading & Awards. This was a competition open to high school students in Los Angeles County to find the best original science fiction short. The finalists will read from their work and the winner announced. Amber will be one of the celebrity guests giving a reading to the audience. The event will be held at Blankspaces Pasadena between 5:30 - 7:00 PM PDT. To find out more click here.

Amber To Attend A Book Signing At Whedoncon 2018 This Saturday

A few days ago it was confirmed that Amber is set to attend a book signing at WhedonCon 2018 held in Los Angeles this weekend. I'm sure the name of Dark Delicacies Bookstore will be familiar to many Amber fans as she has attended many signings and events at their store in Burbank over the last few years. Amber will again be a guest of Dark Delicacies, this time at their booth in the vendor hall that will be part of the WhedonCon 2018 event.

Amber will be signing books at Dark Delicacies Booth from 12 PM to 3 PM PST on Saturday, 19th of May. WhedonCon confirmed to us via Twitter that Amber will not be attending any panels or events this year as she is a guest of Dark Delicacies.

I've had many dealings with Dark Delicacies over the years and their staff have always been friendly and helpful and as we know there's only one thing better than an Amber Benson book and that's a signed Amber Benson book. If you haven't had the chance to meet Amber and can get there do it I guarantee you'll have fun Amber is terrific.
