Amber is to co-write the brand new comic book version of 90s hit movie Clueless. Her writing partner will be friend and author of the Heroine Complex Sarah Kuhn. The comic will act as a follow-up to the big screen cult classic starring Alicia Silverstone.
The Clueless comic book is being published by Boom! Comics and is set to hit shelves this August.
Amber and Sarah recently gave an interview to Vanity Fair explaining what attracted them to the project. They talk about the challenge of recreating an authentic 90s experience, including staying true to the dialogue that fans of Cher, Dionne, and Tai will remember so fondly. I checked with my local comic book store and I was able to place a pre-order for Clueless yesterday so it may be worth checking with your local supplier. I can't wait to read the brand-new Clueless comic book. I'll do my best to update you when new information about the series becomes available.
