A few days ago Amber confirmed via her official Twitter account that she is to be one of the special guests at CLEXACON 2019 in Las Vegas. CLEXACON is the first and largest multi-fandom event which aims to bring together LGBTQ fans, allies and content creators to celebrate positive representations of LGBTQ women in media.
As many of you will know Amber played the role of Tara Maclay in Buffy the Vampire Slayer together with Alyson Hannigan (Willow). They played the first openly gay couple on a US network television show. Amber played the role of Tara with both honesty and sensitivity, which earned her much deserved praise. The role had a big impact on her life, and Amber continues to support the LGBTQ community to this day.
