A few weeks ago came the exciting news that Amber is set to star in the upcoming horror drama The Nightmare Gallery. Amber will play the role of Professor Samantha Rand who lectures in anthropology and is shocked by the sudden disappearance of her star student.
Three years later Samantha receives a mysterious package containing mystical artefacts that may hold the key to discovering the truth behind her pupil's disappearance. Samantha embarks on a journey that could prove to be her undoing as her life begins to unravel. She risks losing her wife Dawn (Mieko Hillman) and her identity. Can she discover the truth in time to save not only herself but the world too?
The Nightmare Gallery is being brought to our screens by Seraph Films and AWOL Studios. Seraph Films explains why they wanted to make this film saying:
“Indie horror is made everyday, but we feel that it's the responsibility of film to serve as a progressive force in our lives in addition to being wildly entertaining. When we were considering projects that were important to us, we realized that there were very few horror movies that featured LGBTQ characters and treated them like normal people. With this in mind, we set out to craft a story that could be an outstanding horror film in its own right, but would also promote the idea that genre films can be about someone other than straight, white men and women.”
The Nightmare Gallery is set to begin filming this summer and there is more exciting news, you can get involved via Kickstarter.
The fantastic creative team behind The Nightmare Gallery have already raised the majority of the funds needed make the film however they have decided to reach out to fans to raise $12,500 to complete the project. I'm delighted to be able to say this target has already been reached with three days left of the campaign still to run. This means The Nightmare Gallery can be completed but there is still time to get involved, support the film and get your hands on some fantastic rewards.
There's something to suit every budget with rewards including:
A thank you in the film's credits
A digital download of the film
The Nightmare Gallery on Blu-ray
T-shirt
Tickets to a screening of The Nightmare Gallery
