Here’s some excellent news for fans: A selection of movies starring Amber is now available to Stream in the UK for free via TUBI. TUBI is an online content platform that provides free content supported by adverts. The service is 100% legal and owned by Fox Corporation.

Here’s what’s currently available on TUBI in the UK starring Amber:

Jack Reed: A Search for Justice, her 2nd appearance as Nicole Reed.

If you're a new fan who hasn't had the opportunity to see her in a number of on-screen roles, this is perfect for you, especially because of the range of films available, including one of her earliest and one of her most recent.

Amber Has Narrated The Audiobook Version of Double Blast – Out Now

Over the last few years, Amber has used her acting skills to narrate several audiobooks, both her own work and for several other authors. Double Blast, narrated by Amber, is the 12th book in Gretchen Archer’s Davis Way Crime Caper series.

Amber recently announced via her official Instagram account that she had returned to narrate the latest in this exciting, long-running series.

Amber and Gretchen first began working together in 2014 when she narrated Double Dip, the second book in the series.

She took over from Dina Pearlman, who had narrated Double Whammy, which was first released in 2013. In January 2019, Amber narrated the anniversary edition of the Double Whammy audiobook, released as an Audible exclusive. This means that Amber has now narrated the audiobook version of every novel in the series to date:

I'm thrilled that Amber has once again returned to lend her vocal talents for the next exciting instalment of this unique crime mystery series. Amber uses her acting talent to great effect. She's able to bring this unique cast of characters off the page, giving them separate and distinct voices that add another exciting dimension to the series. Amber to be a guest on a panel in LA later today

If you live in or around Los Angeles, then here is an exciting update for you

Amber will be a guest at a panel discussing Heidi Honeycutt’s new book ‘I Spit On Your Celluloid - The history of women directing horror movies.’

Heidi is a journalist, film programmer and producer, and in this book, she looks at the history of female filmmakers within the horror genre.

To celebrate the book's publication, there will be a panel and a signing event. This will be held at Dark Delicacies Bookstore in LA today (10 August 2024) at 3 PM local time.

Amber will be a guest at the panel and may also be signing copies herself. As many fans will know, as an actor, Amber has starred in numerous horror movies and short films. She also directed Shevenge, a horror short movie in 2015.

The book contains interviews and articles on female filmmakers, and I suspect Amber may well be one of Heidi's interview subjects. I haven't been able to get my own copy yet, so I can't confirm this for you.

Regular visitors to the site will know that I try to be as thorough as possible when writing an update. I found out about this event yesterday and due to work and personal commitments it delayed me in posting this on the site. I like to give fellow fans as much notice as possible sadly I couldn't on this occasion but I wanted to post an update to help get the word out to any Amber fans living in LA.

‘I Saw The TV Glow’ featuring Amber Benson to be shown at the Tyneside Cinema Newcastle upon Tyne from Friday, the 26th of July

Earlier this month it was revealed that ‘I Saw The TV Glow’ featuring Amber Benson was to be given a nationwide release across both the UK and Republic of Ireland.

‘I Saw The TV Glow’ centres on Owen (Justice Smith) and Maddy (Brigette Lundy-Paine); two teenagers trying to navigate their way through life and high school. Owen and Maddie bond over a shared interest in a supernatural TV show. When the TV show is cancelled, Owen’s reality begins to blur with the fictional world in which the show is set.

I'm delighted to post the news that ‘I Saw The TV Glow’ will be shown at the Tyneside Cinema in Newcastle upon Tyne. I was thrilled to find screenings so close to me at a venue I know well.

Here’s some exciting news for fans in the USA: It was recently revealed that Amber will be heading back to the Sunshine State this September as a guest at FANBOY EXPO Orlando.

The Expo features autograph sessions, photo-ops and guest question-and-answer panels across the three-day event. It will take place from Friday the 6th to Sunday the 8th of September 2024. According to information currently available (correct at the time of publication) Amber is set to attend all three days.

I have some hugely exciting news to share. ‘I Saw The TV Glow’, featuring Amber Benson, is set for a nationwide release later this month in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

‘I Saw The TV Glow’ premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and then had a limited number of preview screenings in the USA before a nationwide release on May 17, 2024.

Last month, ‘I Saw The TV Glow’ made its UK debut in London, where it was given four preview screenings. Now, the website Digitalspy.com has revealed that ‘I Saw The TV Glow’ will be released nationwide across the UK and the Republic of Ireland on Friday, July 26th, 2024.

‘I Saw The TV Glow’ centres on Owen (Justice Smith) and Maddy (Brigette Lundy-Paine); two teenagers trying to navigate their way through life and high school. Owen and Maddie bond over a shared interest in a supernatural TV show. When the TV show is cancelled, Owen’s reality begins to blur with the fictional world in which the show is set.

I haven't been able to find a full list of cinema screenings for ‘I Saw The TV Glow’ at the moment. My advice would be to check your local cinema listings. If possible, I will put together a list of cinemas where the film is being shown. Amber has narrated the upcoming audiobook version of BLOOD EX LIBRIS

A few days ago, it was announced that Amber Benson has narrated the soon-to-be-released audiobook version of BLOOD EX LIBRIS - the first book in the Blood & Ancient Scrolls series by Raven Belasco.

BLOOD EX LIBRIS centres on Anushka ‘Noosh’ Rosetti – a librarian’s typical workday is turned upside down when she meets Vlad Dracula, perhaps the most famous vampire in the world.

The pair embark on a whirlwind romance and Noosh chooses to give up the mortal world. However, she has no time to settle into her new existence as she is plunged into a power struggle for control of vampire society. Dracula's fiercest rival abducts Noosh. Now she must find a way to escape and save herself, and possibly the whole of vampire society too.

Amber talks to issuewire.com about what drew her to the character of Noosh and why it is she wanted to narrate this exciting audiobook. Author Raven Belasco is quick to praise Amber and what she brings to the audiobook.

BLOOD EX LIBRIS Is set to be released on the 26th of May 2024 (World Dracula Day) At the time of writing this article the audiobook is not yet available for pre-order.

I asked author Raven Belasco via Instagram if the audiobook would be available in the UK. Raven was kind enough to reply to say: “We plan to release it on Audible internationally”.

There is some really exciting news for Amber fans living in the USA. It was announced recently that ‘I Saw The TV Glow' will get a full nationwide release on the 17th of May.

‘I Saw The TV Glow’ had its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and there has been a limited number of preview screenings in the USA since then. Now, the nationwide release gives even more fans in the USA the chance to see this exciting film.

It was back in 2022 that Amber revealed she had joined the cast of ‘I Saw The TV Glow’. This is the first time Amber has appeared in an on-screen role since she starred as Professor Samantha Rand in 2019's The Nightmare Gallery.
