Amber Is The Special Guest On Sis & Tell Podcast

Earlier this week Amber was the special guest in the latest episode of the Sis & Tell podcast. This weekly podcast is hosted by sisters Alison Goldstein Lebovitz (PBS' The A List) and comedian Amanda Goldstein Marks who like Amber grew up in Birmingham Alabama. Amanda and Amber had been childhood friends growing up so Amanda invited her on to the podcast for a catch up and luckily for Amber fans everywhere we got to listen too.

Amber reminisces about growing up in Birmingham and how she got her start in the entertainment industry and her career as an actor. Her time as Tara Maclay on Buffy The Vampire Slayer and the importance of Willow and Tara’s relationship and the letters and support she and co-star Alyson Hannigan (Willow) received from the LGBTQ community.

Amber talks about her love of reading, her career as a novelist and a recent transition into writing for film and television. They discuss the up coming movie Oscar Pistorius: The Blade Runner Killer which Amber has written for the Lifetime network (click the hyperlink above for more details) and touch upon some of the other projects she is currently working on and much more.

Amber Is The Special Guest On The Drunk Monk Podcast

Amber recently joined hosts Keiko Agena star of Gilmore Girls and Will Choi as their special guest on The Drunk Monk Podcast. In each podcast Keiko and Will focus on a different episode of the long-running television series Monk with a drink or two on hand of course.

Monk centers on Adrian Monk played by award-winning actor Tony Shalhoub he plays a former San Francisco police detective. Monk quits the SFPD after he develops obsessive-compulsive disorder following a trauma and now works as an unconventional PI.

In this episode of the podcast along with their special guest Amber, Keiko and Will discuss "Mr Monk Stays In Bed" what they liked, disliked and plot holes etc. They also talked about Amber's Echo Park Coven Series of novels, fights with her sister and more. The good news is you don't have to be a fan of Monk to enjoy this podcast as it was an entertaining listen.

Amber A Guest On The Mystic Party Podcast

Amber was recently a guest on the Mystic party podcast which is "The world's premiere cryptopsychology podcast. We help normal people deal with paranormal problems, hosted by Brea and Zane Grant."

This is definitely one of the funniest and unique podcasts I’ve listened to with topics such as sex ghosts, bookstores and Lionel Richie. Beyond that I'm not going to try and describe it this just something you have to experience for yourself. If you're looking for something a little different to listen to and are a fan of Amber and if you're visiting my site chances are you will be. Then you definitely need to check this out. It’s very entertaining but something not to be taken too seriously.

The Three Guys With Beards podcast has featured previously in the latest news section when Amber was the special guest for episode 2. If you're hearing about Three Guys With Beards for the first time here is what you need to know. It is a regular podcast hosted by acclaimed authors Christopher Golden, James A Moore and Jonathan Maberry all of whom have beards in which they discuss writing and much more.

In this Halloween themed episode with Jonathan globetrotting Christopher and James enlist the help of Amber and author, singer and actor Kasey Lansdale as guest hosts for this episode.

They discuss their favourite Halloween memories and traditions along with books, movies, armpit hair and much more. Christopher, James, Amber and Kasey all spill the beans on their latest work and appearances.

Amber talks about The Last Dream Keeper, book 2 from her Witches Of Echo Park series. Her new novella Death and Buses and a return to The Ghosts Of Albion series as she and Christopher reveal they plan to work on the new short story.

Amber Is The Special Guest On Episode 2 Of Three Guys With Beards Podcast

Recently Amber joined Christopher Golden, James A Moore and Jonathan Maberry as their special guest on episode two of three guys with beards.

Three very talented authors all of whom have impressive bodies of work and between them have written countless novels, novelisations, videogames, television and web series too. I am going to include links to all of their websites you can check out their full bibliographies for yourself. These three acclaimed authors and friends have started a brand-new regular podcast in which they discuss writing and yes as the title suggests they all have beards.

In this episode along with guest Amber they discuss her brand-new urban fantasy series The Witches Of Echo Park. The first novel in the series is available in paperback, e-reader format and audiobook narrated by Amber herself which are all out now. Amber also hints at a possible title for the second book which is scheduled for release in January 2016.

Amber Benson Is A Guest On The Canon Podcast

First of all I'd like to apologise for not adding this to the latest news section earlier, my Internet connection was down for a few days and I'm only now catching up.

Amber was a special guest on a recent episode of The Canon a regular series hosted by film critics Devin Faraci (Badass Digest) and Amy Nicholson (LA Weekly). Each episode Devin and Amy discuss a different film and put it to a vote to decide whether the film is worthy of The Canon. In this episode they invited special guest Amber to join them in discussing the Fellini classic The Nights of Cabiria. Was The Nights of Cabiria deemed worthy of The Canon? Amber Is The Guest In Episode 9 Of The Hollywood Insight Podcast.

Amber talks with host David Kohner Zuckerman on this week's edition of the Hollywood Insight Podcast. (Episode 9)

David is a writer and producer who has been working in Hollywood for many years in fact if his name sounds familiar to Amber fans it's because he worked as a producer on the film Strictly Sexual in which Amber played the role of Donna.

In this episode Amber discusses what motivates her to take a particular role, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, her experiences writing and directing and her upcoming novel The Witches Of Echo Park as well as a whole lot more.

I'd urge anybody to listen to this engaging, intelligent interview Amber of course brings her terrific sense of humour to the fore as well.

Amber is no stranger to the world of podcasts and adds to her impressive list of credits with a guest role on the “Fire Talk With Me” podcast.

Hosted by Jeremy Smith and Allie Goertz this limited edition podcast (part of the Electric Shadow Network) offers listeners an episode-by-episode review of David Lynch's groundbreaking television series Twin Peaks. Jeremy is a long-time fan of the series and is guiding Allie as she watches the series for the very first time. Each week the pair discuss the next episode in the company of a special guest.

In episode 7: Realization Time they are joined by Amber who is herself a big Twin Peaks fan.

A must listen for any fan of Twin Peaks and/or Amber of course as she swaps her opinions and thoughts on this episode with both Jeremy and Allie and much more besides. I promise you'll never look at knitting needles in the same way again.

Amber Benson’s Appearances On The Once And Future Podcast

This morning I checked out my Twitter feed I was pleased to discover that Anton Strout had posted a link to all of Amber's appearances on the Once And Future Podcast as well as all his other episodes as well.

I was also horrified to discover that somehow I'd managed to miss two episodes in which Amber makes an appearance which if you're a regular viewer of my site may surprise you as much as it did me. At this point I’ll hang my head in shame because you know how much I enjoy bringing you news about Amber's creative endeavours.

First of all let's rewind and start at the beginning with what is The Once And Future Podcast?

The Once And Future Podcast is the creation of Anton Strout, fans of urban fantasy novels may well recognise him as the hugely successful author of both The Spellmason Chronicles & The Simon Canderous paranormal detective series. As well as being an accomplished author Anton is also a fan of podcasts but couldn't find one that was talking about science fiction and fantasy novels so Anton decided to do it himself hence The Once And Future Podcast was born.
